Out of Buenos Aires again and made my way to La Paz over 68 hours.
Stopped in Salta for a 9 hour wait
Caught the midnight bus to the Argentina-Bolivia border.
Got fucked over at the border for money.
Waited for 6 hours in the sun with a couple of Argentinans I met on the way with no shade in Villazon in Bolivia to catch the train. Got extremely sunburnt. As soon as I get to Bolivia, things change drastically. Streets are dirty, the people are ugly. The whole town is a market with people selling things from rugs and sheets, clothes food and just crap really.
Caught the overnight train to Oruro. Worst train trip ever
Caught a bus from Oruro to La Paz and arrived at Loki hostel which is just amazing. Some massive old building with old decorations and the best beds. Had a sleep and went out that night with an english couple I knew in Buenos Aires that I met coincidentally.
Went around the markets the next day to the 'witches market' which is just a normal market really but they have dried llama fetuses they sell and you are meant to bury them under your house for good luck. Disgusting anyway. Went to a wrestling match that night which was so bad it was funny. People dressed in custumes and girls wresting wwf style except really badly. Was funny to watch went one of the wrestlers stoles some tourists drink and poured fanta all over the croud and then everyone throwing shit at him.
Mountain biked down the most dangerous road in the world which was just crazy. Riding less than a metre away from a cliff with a 500m drop. The whole thing is downhill and the first 2 hours was paved road, and the other 3 hours on gravel road. Was one of the best things ive done. Ended up from 4600m to 1400m in the jungle. From freezing cold to stinking hot and humid. Finished at a hotel in the jungle with a swimming pool and a buffet lunch.
Will be coming back to La Paz after Cusco to do some volunteer work.

Argentina Boliva border
. Stinking hot inside the cabins, uncomfortable chairs impossible to sleep on and full of stinking fat Bolivians snoring all night and deciding to wake up at 5:30 in the morning to put music on their phone as loud as they can.Caught a bus from Oruro to La Paz and arrived at Loki hostel which is just amazing.
