We have planned, packed, organized and enacted everything (I hope), yet tomorrow cannot come soon enough, although 5am will be early!  We are packed, well, I am packed.  Michael is doing the last few things as I write.  The house is set, the neighbors, friends and appropriate services notified.  And we are soon on our way to Copenhagen and our breif adventure before we join Michael's parents aboard the MS Eurodam on July 5th.  The inaugural sailing, pretty exciting stuff.

I had my coffee this morning and watched the naming and dedication ceremony for the EURODAM streamed live from Rotterdam, The Netherlands.  Michael watched some if not all of it at his office and we shared it for a few minutes over the phone.  It was cool to watch Queen Beatrix live from the other side of the Atlantic,  ring the bell and watch the bottle smash against the hull.  I know it seems lame, but it felt like being there.   Sailing on her makes it personal I guess, the Eurodam that is, not the Queen ;-).

Check out the Holland America Site, and the construction blog for the Eurodam @
click on either the EURODAM blog link, or the HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DEDICATION CEREMONY link above it.  It is very intersting, informative, and fun.

Well, time to pack the computer now, and hit the sack.  I won't sleep much, but the tradeoff will be worth it.
And I look forward to sharing the coming weeks with you!  Thanks for reading!
