It was another business trip of mine.  I went there for 3 days.  Since my birthday had just passed, my friend treated me by travelling around Semarang. Don't tell my boss, please :)

The first place was Bandungan.  It was a historical place.  There are a lot of Hindo statues on the valley.  The architecture is the same as Siem Rieb in Combodia. We have to travel by horse.  It was my first time to ride a horse too.

The next stop was the Chinese temple.  I was surprised that there is a big and  famous Chinese temple in Semarang.

After Chinese temple, we went to Potestan church since 17th century. Potestan church

I didn't have any idea about the melting pot of culture in Semarang.

The next day, we went to see coffee plantation.  I had never seen how coffee tree look like though I worked in a Coffee company.  Besides coffee, I found Cocoa tree in the plantation too.  It was so different from my thought !!

Of course, I had to taste the traditional coffee.  The traditional coffee must have dust of coffee (actually I don't know the term how to call it).  The taste is so good. My friend recommended me to drink coffee with fried tofu.  I'd never thought that it could be together.  But it wasn't bad :)

Most of my friends said that this is the good trip due to it is not normal for foreigner to go to Bandungan.  It is not famous but it's worth to go there.  I agree !
