Weekend with a familiar face!

This weekend Maggie came to visit! We had a great time just hanging out and watching movies on Friday....can you say Footloose? Then Saturday we took a trip downtown to our huge outdoor market and just walked around looking at junk. After that we took a trip up to the Superga. The Basilica of Superga was built in the 18th century and houses many tombs of the princes and kings of the House of Savoy (family that once held rule over the area). It was a clear sunny day so there was a great view of the Alps (pictures don't do it any justice). Later we went to dinner and ate like kings....yummm. The rest of the weekend was spent just hanging out and being lazy...a nice break from all the frantic traveling I've been doing!
