Lucca by Bike

Sunday we took a quick train to Lucca. It was a fairtale sort of town. We got to the train station and headed straight for the walls of the city. Once inside we rented bikes but only after testing the tandem bicycles first. It was a no-go so we each got our own. Giant backpack included we headed out and biked on top of the wall all around the perimeter of the city. It made me feel like I was 10 again!! Soo much fun! If you ever get the chance, go to Lucca and rent bikes!! After our two hours of biking (sorry mom no helmets were available...I really begged for one but no such luck!) and taking pictures we ditched the bikes. Only two casulties occured: Erika ran into an old lady and Ashley fell off her bike...otherwise it was happy sailing. After ditching the bikes we looked through an open market then ate a delicious lunch. YUM. I had a calzone the size of my head! Lucca was great but we were all exhausted and jumped back on the train to Torino. Ciao Lucca. Until next time.
