Hiroshima pictures

It's time to post several photos of the city, including some of the A-Bomb Dome, a structure which (miraculously) survived the atomic bomb on Aug. 6, 1945, that vaporized the city. The building stands as a living monument to that day. It's been slightly refurbished but no "fixed up" to beautify it in any stretch of the imagination.
At the present time, dozens of photos from Hirhoshima and the beautiful isle of Miyajima are on my cell phone but I've not yet found the proper connecting device to transfer them to my laptop or a CD. The A-Bomb Dome, in fact, was once the Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, a city office building. More thumbnails ...
