So anyway, the success of the day was almost compromised when Millo started off the day in a bad mood and said he wasn't going to go to school. Luckily Luca took him out to buy a new toy (yes, another one. He got yet another when he and I went to do the shopping. Crazy!) and by the time they had done this Millo decided that actually he would go to school.
I spent the morning drawing and then, after what was a fairly pitiful lunch of leftovers, I set out up the brutally steep hill to see the Fortezza di Girifalco. As I had hoped, the weather was nice and sunny so I was happy. As one might expect, but naive little me didn't anticipate, it was much colder and windier on top of the hill when I reached the Fortress
The rest of the day was fairly uneventful. Millo and I went shopping, as I already mentioned, and it was significantly easier than I expected. Admittedly, after a while Millo started complaining that he was tired but it was only half serious whining. We finished a lot earlier that anyone had expected which meant that we had to wait outside, in the cold, for 45 minutes. Luckily, it was warmer today so it wasn't too bad.
On our return to the house I spent a looong time doing some English practice with Metta, had dinner (which I didn't cook- yay!) and am now finishing the day with 'Friends'. Is there a better end to a day? I think not.
