didn’t know that Livia had gone down really early with the kids) and then took
the kids to get their ski stuff from the hire place. Metta then went off and
had a lesson and we went to try and find Millo a teacher. When we eventually
found one, he went with her and Livia and I spent the best part of 45 minutes
standing in the freezing cold and fairly heavy snow, watching him. Or watching
the approximate area that we guessed he was in. Fun fun.
Thankfully, Millo decided quite quickly that he’d had enough
so we went to a café quickly (where Millo had a delightfully public cry because
his hands were cold) before going back to the hotel
and Millo and I went and had lunch. Today I had an omelette that was such a
bright yellow it could restore sight to blind people.
The rest of the day passed with me playing with the kids,
Livia complaining about the imaginary amount of time she was with the kids and
me wishing I was anywhere but here. At about four in the afternoon a couple of
girls, that the family knows, came to play with Metta and Millo and the ensuing
two hours were filled with me going up and down two flights of stairs about 50
times playing hide and seek with them. Safe to say, sono STANCA!
Hopefully tomorrow will be more interesting but, seeing as
Millo seems to have taken a strong
dislike to skiing and, thus, has decided he doesn’t want to do it again, I get
the feeling it will be much the same as today. Oh, joy…
I’m off to drown my sorrows in a film now.
P.s. at least it’s still pretty here.
