After over 10 days on Gili Air, we were starting to go the opposite of cabin-fever... island fever perhaps? And finally, today decided to get out of there. We were also down to like, $10, and didn't want to do another trip to Gili T. to use the ATM.

So we packed up, said goodbye to everyone at our bungalow and the adjacent bar (I gave them a present of my daytime poi, because so many of the guys there kept borrowing them) and hopped a boat back to Lombok. Then it was a couple hours minivan ride to Senggigi, which is apparently the touristy beach place on Lombok. It took forever to find a room! This is the first country we've visited during it's 'high-season' and it is SUCH a pain in the butt. Everything is more expensive, or full.
Anyway, we ended up with a pretty nice room right by the beach, for $12/night. But only after walking up and down the strip in the heat with a sinus headache (STILL not healthy, arg!)

So here we are, Senggigi, Lombok, Indonesia. Traveling has brought me back several days in recovery... I was starting to get better but after the bost/bus/finding room I felt sick all over again and ate soup and took a nap. There's a clinic in town that I'm going to check out tomorrow because dammit, I'm sick of being sick!
