On Saturday Garret, Eric and I were feeling a little depressed that our TV, which is the only one in our whole apartment building, died. It was a tragic and slow death as we played our last games of Forza Motor Sport on the Xbox with barely a picture to look at
Sunday Kinsey and I went on our usual breakfast adventures. We decided that the Globe was the place, and that we would explore more areas over the Charles Bridge after breakfast. The food was good, although we could have gone without the smoking, which is still widely accepted and prevalent in the Czech Republic. On our exploration we went to the top of the hill overlooking the Castle. There was a very handy tram that took us up the small mountain to a drop off location where we would be able to walk around and get amazing views of the city. The views were perfect and only enhanced because of the great sunny day, it was still damn cold though. We walked around for a couple hours and got some great pictures. After that we spent the rest of the day relaxing and getting ready for the week
This week classes were relatively simple. Tuesday I had Art and Architecture and we were able to go to the museum of renaissance art. This was located in an old convent / monastery and had some amazing pieces. I tried to take pictures but we were not allowed to use flash so none of them really came out great at all. Wednesday I had my two classes, International Management and Gender studies. I am really excited about the International Management class and was even talking with the professor about their masters program. The Prague School of Econ is equivalent to Ivy league schools back in the States and has an awesome masters program where the student spends 1 year at different accredited schools throughout Europe. I am very interested in this and am seriously considering applying to it once I graduate Chico. The Gender Studies class is basically about Man bashing with the teacher being extremely feminist. She even tried to argue with me today that men could have babies, she was referring to transgenders, but I was quick to point out that almost no man would consider a tranny a real man. I was quickly backed up by the other men in the class, as well as some of the women.
Those were the only classes that I had this week, because I am leaving tonight for Munich. while in Munich I will be attending a beer festival as well as going on a 10 hour tour of the German castle that was the inspiration for the Disney castle. I am very excited. The bus leaves at 11 tonight, so we will get to Germany around 4 which means either bars or naps before checking into the hostel at 11. Until next time.
