Okay, we're about to head off again, and we're taking you with us if you choose to come. The house is littered with travel gear that will, we hope, all make it into our packs before we leave on December 15 headed for Orlando, to board a Panamanian airline to Santiago, Chile via Panama City. We leave the day after Sidney's last final exam.

Let us know, of course, if you don't want to be on the blog list. And don't forget to write us! Sidney in particular loves to hear from friends. We hope internet access will be as easy in Chile as it was in New Zealand, and that we can navigate it in a different language. Jim has high school Spanish (and has been to Chile before), but I only have French. We'll do our best.

Hi guys,
Good luck on the exams, Sidney! I am just finishing up my next to last paper (the longest one), only one more to go and by the time you guys are on your way to Chile I will be taking a nap on the couch to recover from this semester!

Hope your travels are safe and you have a great trip, I look forward to reading the blog and seeing photos. I will be visiting my family in Phoenix and it will be fun to check in on your travels!
Happy Holidays!

Hi Folks:
So you're off again! That's wonderful. I'm really interested in hearing about your backpack. (Now don't make it sound too easy, all right?)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in the Southern Hemisphere!

Sounds like a grand adventure! I'd hoped to finally meet you over the holidays but it sounds like you'll be having way more fun than the rest of us. Can't wait to follow along and see your adventure unfold. Hope it's as rewarding as your last one! .....your future Aunt Mary Ann

Hey Sid!

I've read your other entries, so I'm kind of doing this out of order. Still, this is so cool! I very much enjoyed your homemade goodbye, it feels very homey and comforting. Even though I didn't see you all that much even when we go to school in the same county, but even so I'm gonna miss you! Keep sending pictures and "News from Sidney".... AND HAVE FUN! (which of course I know you will.... but still.) Your Friend, Cass
