Chiang Mai is fabulous...

Ok well as you will see I have taken some snaps of the things that I have been doing..

So we caught a mini bus from Pattaya to Bangkok airport which was a two hour trip then we decided to see about getting on an earlier flight.. but that would cost us 500 baht.. plus we wanted to upgrade so that we could take more luggage with us.. that did cost us 535 baht.. but you should have seen us.. we where in 12 A,B and J which was the second lot of seats from the front of the plane.. we got a drink, a snack and a free newspaper..

So when we got to the airport we had three lots of backpacks to wait for.. Mine, Kates and Sheree's well Kates was first.. then mine.. Sheree's nowhere to be seen... so we wait and look in the baggage area.. nothing.. then the carosel stopped.... still no bag.. Sheree decides at this point that if she doesn't laugh then she will definately start crying.. so Sheree and I are there with tears running down our faces.. and Kate is looking at us like we are crazy aliens...

Anyways it turns out that Sheree's bag loved Bangkok so much that it was circling the carosel in Bangkok instead of in Chiang Mai.. so regardless of that.. we got a room at the eagle 2 near the night markets.. very nice place is Chiang Mai.. and I would recommend any traveller coming to Thailand to come here.

The night markets are insane.. shopping shopping and much more shopping.. if only I was rich.. oh well.. Kate did buy a lovely skirt that the lady selling told her that she was the same size as Kate and the skirt would fit her well.. only to find out when we got back to the room that they where pantalooms.. very MC Hammer.. lol..
