Where I stayed
Well well, we left the cloud forest for more sea sun and beach he he! We went to Manuel Antonio the famous place where Monkeys are stealing your sandwich from your plate and surfer dudes are ruling!
I found my surfer, Nick he is actually one of them, cool style on the waves, he even got the Manuel Antonio "check" right after the second day of surfing. Was quite iņpressed as the waves are defo not the same as Hyeres les Palmiers or Deal..ha ha.
We visited the National Park were all the animals u want are gazing at you (all but the damm Squirell Monkeys) and I relaxed a lot on the beach as it was one activitiy I really wanted to master before continuing the trip.
The hostal was on the beach and we were happy to stay late watching the stars and running after crabs ..sound idyllic huh? It was, it has been really cool to be able to leave the backpacks on the ground for 4 days as we ve always been on the road after 2 days every time we stopped somewhere
The monkeys (white faced)that were on the main beach were nice but you could see the damage of tourists feeding (nourrir) them, they were turning all nasty (mechants) and not happy when you would be too close of their bins (poubelles), it was like it was their territory, the ones in the national park were cooler.
We are now back in SanJose, ready to fly to Lima tommorow, we are going to meet Rafael, Nickīs peruvian friend so hope the transition from Costarica is going to be smooth as I am quite sad to leave this country, it is my favourite ever for now, but it is not as if I really travelled the world before, but am sure Nick is backing me up on that one , it is truly amazing and the people were reallyyyy nice ..apart the one that pickpocketed Nick...but thatīs another story!
We are off for one last drink by the swimming pool of our hostal ( tuvois maman, meme les hostals ont des piscines!)
Loads of love
Audrey and Nick
