On 1st day, rented bikes out and cycled up the coast to various beaches. Unbelievably, they were all deserted! Audrey and I couldnt believe our luck! so enjoyed relaxing there. We also saw my firt sloth of the trip swimming across a river - very slowly indeed, so is surprising he didnt drown - and climb a tree yay!
Then we came back to this crazy hostal full of young backpacker surfer dudes so funny and I don't (audrey) feel too out of place even with the whole sharing toilets and shower... We sleep in a nice-ish cabine where my silk sleeping bag is very useful he he; you can sleep in hamacs or tents, the place is huge
Today we went on a 4 hours hike in the Jungle with Rasta Ricky a naturalist guide who showed us all sorts of plants and animals, which was wicked! Saw everything: spiders, snakes, monkeys, sloths, etc... Audrey picked up the art of finding the animals in the jungle pretty quickly, so she seemed to be the one pointing out monkeys and snakes before Rasta Ricky (probably because he too was stoned!). Then trekked up this beautiful beach (deserted again)! so all in all, a brilliant day!
Now knackered and still not too sure what to do tomorrow... Bocas del Toro in Panama, Cahuita, Parismina, ...??? We are now going back to the hostal, and we are really happy to hear from you guys so thanks for your messages!
Les Francais, je redemande - est ce que ca va l'anglais? vous arrivez a traduire?- Sinon faut le dire hein?
Voila, gros bisous et a bientot pour de nouvelles aventures de Audrey et Nick
