Happy Christmas and a Great New Year to all

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and a great new year. Arrived in Port Dickson to the south of Kuala Lumpur, with the plan of spending Christmas on the beach, Port Dickson is a small beach resort with very nice hotels, friendly people and even places to camp on the beach! We took the opportunity to swim, buy ice creams from a man on a motorbike riding along the beach and tip toe over thousands of tiny crabs, swarming on the low tide sand. The beach is is nice with mangroves to one end and even more tiny crabs.
The resort we planned to stay in over Christmas is very much a locals hotel and we are the only westerners here, so the emphisis on food is traditional! I love doing as the romans do!(when in Rome of course!)eating the local delights, Just still trying to get my head round Curried Chicken, rice and noddles for breakfast. I didn't realise how much I loved toast! Today the plans have changed! Just as I have found the BBC world service and a home for my socks! We are now returning Kuala Lumpur to arrange paperwork for onwards shipping to Australia with the plan of arriving in mid January. So Christmas on the Beach, um! not sure! Mind you Christmas carols are playing everywhere, there is fake snow on the hotel windows, a snowman on the breakfast buffet, I am sat by the pool, 2 degrees off the equater, singing " The Weather outside is freezing ".

I'll hope that Santa puts some toast in your stocking, and maybe a box of corn flakes cereal! (non-curry flavor, of course.)
You've all been so good, sharing your (zany) interests, friendliness and good will toward your fellow man during your travels. I know it will continue to come back to you tenfold as you journey on.
