besides being quite cold, this was a nice town... kinda sleepy in the off season, i imagine it is just packed in the summer... people enjoying the sun and beaches... i walked around the fort St Jean which looks out over the water and got some good views... the walk up to the Basilica on the hill was great as well... made for some good photos... not really too much else besides faking that i didn't speak french to get rid of this guy who was hitting on me... he even persisted in broken english for a good 45 minutes before i could get rid of him... had i admitted that i spoke french there woulda been no losing him!! damn the french and their persistant nature! its almost to the point where i have to be downright rude to get the point across if i'm not interested...
