i find it hard to find my way around simple cities!!! but i think Venice could catch anyone, no matter how good their navigational skills! i had enough time to get lost aplenty, see St Marks Basilica (after having just seen St Peter's it was still beautiful) and walk around the market area along the grand canal... there are no vehicles, so its fun to watch all the boats delivering everything... i saw a UPS boat, a liquor delivery boat, plus tons of other ones... they unload the boat onto these carts that then get hand delievered to the store, or restaurant... it was pretty fascinating..
