Japanin jalkeen Korea tuntuu vahan toiselta maailmalta. Mulla on ainakin viela vahan vaikeuksia tottua uuteen paikkaan.

Busaniin saavuttiin kolmen tunnin laivamatkan jalkeen.

Loydettiin taas aseman vieresta halpa turistihotelli.

Siitakin kuvia ohessa.

Nora

No more konichiwas as we arrived in Busan, South Korea. After Japan it feels like a different world here. Japan was very sophisticated and clean place, and more westernized, than Korea. Maybe it takes some time to get use to a new country, new habits.

We entered Busan after three hour ferry ride from Fukuoka/Hakata, Japan. It was like the ferries that travel between Finland and Estonia. Except you had to fasten seat belts in case of a sudden moves due to sea creatures like dolphins. ;)

I slept the whole trip and first thing in Busan we searched for a hotel. There was this cheap tourist hotel next to the train station where we a got a room for good bargain. The centre was lively with the street vendors and all the hustle bustle around them. I'd love to buy loads of nice items they sold there but we decided to leave the shopping for Seoul as we ship some of our clothes etc. to home from there.

The next day we checked out the famous Haendae-beach which is also known as Waikiki beach of Korea. Well the beach was long and the sand lightbrown and silky.. and blue sea..mmm.. very nice indeed. We sspent the day on the beach, reading and chatting. And conveniently when we got hungry we spotted T.G.I Friday's just next to the beach. The food was awesome, after all the japanese. We also visited the Dongbaekseom park which is a peninsula little further from the beach.

Busan did not have much to seeand we were looking for to get further north to enjoy autumn foliage.

Next town's Daegu...take care.
