Piti muuten mainita jo aikasemmin etta eksyin kauneussalonkiin Saigonissa ja tarkotus oli ottaa manikyyri ja pedikyyri muutaman dollarin hintaan ja tavata Raffi sen jalkeen nettikaffilassa. Mutta mun aika vierahti siel niin hyvin et paatin viel teha hiuksillekin jotain ja otin raidat myos. Tietty vahan pelotti miten kay mun hennoille skandi-hiuksille vietnamilaisessa kampaamossa mut paremmin kun hyvin, eli au naturel raidat sain ja 12euron hintaan. Ja hyvan foonauksen myos. Koko salongissa oli joku kymmenen (ellei enemmankin) tyontekijaa, ja ite paikka oli aika pikkunen

. Naiset hoiti kynnet ja hieronnat ja kaks kundia teki hiusduunit. Hauska kokemus...niin ja Raffi tulikin sit tsekkaa mihin oon havinny kun ei mua alkanu kuulumaan..hhehhe..uuups.No niin ja takasin Kambodzhaan, Phnom Penhista meni joku nelisen tuntia Sihanoukvilleen..nelja tuskasen kuumaa tuntia kun meian bussista meni ilmastointi heti aluks rikki. Ulkonakin oli viileempi kun dosassa. Ja hikoiltiin kun possut. Maisemat oli taas hienot koko matkan ajan. Phnom Penhissa herattiin kolmena aamuna siihen kun meian hotellin lahella alettiin soittaa jotain rukous(?)laulua/musiikkia. Kerran kuuden aikaan, kaks kertaa seiskan puol kasin valilla. Ja sita soitettiin lujaa!! Ei kyl ikina selvinny mika se oli, ehka joku koko kaupungin yleinen heratyskello viikolla ;)
Sihanoukvillessa ollaan sit nukuttu sitakin paremmin. Ja vaan otettu rennosti rannalla ja kayty uimassa. Ehdottomasti paremmat hiekkarannat kun Vietnamissa. Pyorailtiin eilen viiden kilsan paahan toiselle hiekkikselle mis ei ollu turisteja ihan kiinni sussa ja siel oli kivaa. Siemailtiin mangoshakea ja leikittiin merileijonia..hahaha.. ja makee auringonlasku tietty. Sit paa kolmantena jalkana pyorailtiin takas niin et hiki lens. Niin ja eilen soin ekan perunan kahteen ja puoleen kuukauteen! MMMMmm..

se oli hyvaa. Tanaan, tiistaina, tehtiin paivaretki Ream-kansallispuistoon puolen tunnin ajomatkan paahan. Sielt otettiin vene ja jatkettiin 1.5h rannikolle mangrovepuiden ohi ja mentiin uimaan rantsuun. Sit kaveltiin viidakon lapi toiselle puolelle niemee ja syotiin pippurista grillattua barracudaa. Vahan kun tonnikalafile, tosi hyvaa. Sen jalkeen taas sama reitti takas. Niin ja asken kaytiin Finlandia-baarissa taal Sihanoukvillessa. Kaytiin syomassa pyttista ja lihapullia ja lettua hillolla ja kermavaahdolla. Hehe... Omistaja vaan oli vahan..noh, tyypillinen suomalainen. Se istu aasialaisen naisystavansa kanssa viereisessa poydassa ja me ei siis oltu varmoja oliks se suomalainen koska se puhu englantia tyontekijoille ja sille naiselle eika muutenkaan ollu perinteisen suomalaisen nakonen. Eika se kommentoinu mitenkaan vaik kuuli et puhuttiin Raffin kaa suomeks. Mut kun tilattiin meian suomalaisannokset listalta ja staffi tuli kertomaan sille miehelle tilaukset, jolloin se mies nous ja meni kyokkiin paistamaan lihapullat ja letunkin myohemmin. Eli se siis oli se ainoo joka osas teha suomalaisia ruokia. Ja lopuks kun lasku oli maksettu ja kiitettiin ni se sano kiitos suomeks.. Ma ainakin haluisin jutella mun suomalaisten asiakkaitten kanssa jos niit nakis harvemmin nain pienessa ja suomalaisille viel tuntemattomassa paikassa.. noh, kuten sanottu, me suomalaiset ollaan uniikkeja..hehe

. Joka tapauksessa ruoka oli kun kotona ja se oli se pointti.
Sihanoukvillessa on paljon turistitarjontaa mut onneks taal ei oo niin paljon turisteja et taa tuntuu viel suht ainutlaatuselta paikalta naha. Ja nyt on kuulemma high season taalla.

So the wonderful beachlife lired us to south coast of Cambodia, well the only coast in Cambodia. ;) And now we're in Sihanoukville. We have a bungalow 200metres from the beach in a resort called Monkey Republic, owned by British guys. The music is played late and pool table's busy, it's fun here. We wanted to enjoy sun, sea and sand before we head to inland for three weeks.
I was suppose to mention earlier that I visited a beauty salon in Saigon for manicure and pedicure

. I got bit carried away and decided to have highlights too. We should've met in net cafe later with Raffi but as the time went by so quickly he found me from the salon three hours later enjoying myself...hahaha...women...I was a bit scared though how my fragile scnadinavian hair will respond to their treatment but they knew what to do and the result was natural! And for the price of 12euros. The salon was full of employees, around ten or more and women handled the nail biz and massage, and the two men there took care of hair biz. Funny experience and warmly recommended.
And back to Cambodia. It took four hours to get to Sihanoukville from Phnom Penh by bus. Four sweaty hours as the a/c resigned right in the beginning of the ride. It was even colder outside. But the scenery was great no matter what. Oh, and in Phnom Penh, during three mornings we woke up between 6-8 coz there was this somekind of prayer(?) music played nearby and very loud! We never figured out what it was but we sure didn't sleep either.
But in Sihanoukville we've slept well enough. And just chillet on the beach, swam a lot too. The beaches are absolutely better than in Vietnam. Yesterday we rented bikes and rode to another beach five kms further east

. There were less tourists and better beach too. We enjoyed the day there with mango shakes and cool sunset. In the eve I had the first potato since Finland. Yummy, that was good for a change. Today, Tuesday, we made a daytrip to Ream National Park, about half an hour form here by car. There we took a boat and continued 1.5hrs more to a beach where we had about 40mins to swim and sunbathe, after which we walked across a jungle to the other side of the peninsula. There in a dolphin station we had grilled, peppery barracuda lunch which was great. Like tuna really. Then we continued back the same way.
just a while ago we paid a visit to a Finlandia bar in downtown. We had pyttipannu (whatever that is in English..mix of leftovers you find in the fridge) and meatballs. Well the owner sure was typical Finn. He didn't say a word even though he sat next to us and heard us speaking in Finnish. It was also har for us to tell whether he was a Finn as h didnt look like one. And after the staff took orders they always went to the owner who I suppose was the only one who can cook the Finish food in that resto. And he did say 'Kiitos' when we left.. I mean if I had a bar somewhere where not many Finns travel, I'd be happy to meet my landmates and talk to them..well, like said, it's very Finnish way to behave.. ;)
Anyhow, the food was excellent, like home-made.
There are lots to offer to tourists but luckily it's not too overcrowded and touristy here yet. And they say it's high season now. That's why it was great to witness this place now before the big crowd.
