Heikun keikun,
Meian piti vaihtaa nimittain suunnitelmia. Meille meinas iskee paniikki miten paastaan Penangilta pois mut onneks yks lisabussi oli laitettu Kuala Lumpuriin, josta suurin osa pakenee lomakohteisiin juhlien ajaks.
Penangissa kannattaa siis piipahtaa jos Malesiaan satutte.

English version right here ;)
Back to work, updating blog. Pulau Penang was reached within two hours from Langkawi where we had booked, well Raffi had, a nice hotel for five nights as my birthday present. We stayed in a part of the island called Tanjung Bungah in a Copthorne Orchid Hotel. Great hotel with sea views rooms and ours in 16th Floor. The service was excellent and the whole place was smoothing the wrinkles from previous accommodations ;)
Penang was even nicer than Langkawi, we didnt do much since my ankle wasnt still perfectly healed, and why to leave when you're staying in a place where's everything there. We did visit Georgetown though which is just lovely. You see the architecture and buildings in the pics attached, it was beautiful. And you could basically find everything there, starting from shopping arcades. But besides that we slept long, watched telly, chilled down at the pool area and had goos supper at local bistros, mostly Indian. And the best mango lassi there! And the breakfast buffet was blast! They have everything you can request for from Japanese to Indian food/breakfast. The pool area was great but their private beach wasn't much to brag about, besides they have jellyfish-warning there. They say Batu Ferringhi is great for sunbathers but we never went there.
Nearly every eve it was raining there. The clouds and lightning were awesome but it didn't develop into as big a stomr as back home sometimes. And for some reason my karma's not right, I got a flu after the variation in the room (air-con) and outside temperature so I spent the last day in bed and and slept the whole bustrip to KL. You see, change of plan occured since the Chinese New Year was approaching. Pangkor and Cameron Highlands were overbooked and no available seats in buses. At the end we got seats in an extra but to KL and decided it's a good option as most of the people leave the city.
But here I am in KL writing my blog. Penang's really worth it if you happen to be around.
