Tanne paastiin suht lyhyen ja helpon matkan jalkeen Ko Phanganilta. Otettiin huone aluks Krabin keskustasta yheks yoks mutta paatettiin pitaa taa meian tukikohtana ja teha retket taalta kasin koska tykattiin tast paikasta ja haluttiin naha useita rantsuja. Joten ollaan loppujen lopuks oltu taalla jo viitisen yota. Ekana paivana mentiin tsekkamaan Ao Nang ranta-alue mutta se oli vahan kun Hua Hinin kakkosversio kaikkine turisteineen ja Suomen lippuineen ;)
Ja se ranta ei ollut niin spessu, sekin taynna ja vesi vahan sameeta. Koska me ollaan reppureissaajia niin me luonnollisesti etitaan sita taydellista rantaa ;D
Buukattiin heti alkuun paivaretki Phi Phi saarille ja se alko taas "aikaseen" kaheksalta aamulla. Suomalaiset oli hyvin edustettuna, meit oli 5 (+Raffi) kahenkymmenen henkilon joukossa. Me snorklattiin ensin avoimella merella, tosin ei niin syvalla. Ja ma tein sen, snorklasin ilman liivia! Tsemppasin itteeni henkisesti ja kun nain et pari vanhempaa suomalaisrouvaakin meni kun vetta vaan niin enhan ma voinu nossoilla. Ja sen jalkeen kun olin pari kertaa dipannu paatani veden alle ja hyperventiloinu ni mun hengitys tasaantu ja tajusin etten hukukaan niin helposti ja snorklaus olikin helppoo ilman pelastusliivia. hahaha..;) Norppa siis luonnostaan...
Sielta jatkettiin stopille Monkey Beachille, tosin se oli niin taynna veneita ja ihmisia, joten ei niita apionoitakaan hirveesti nakyny. Seuraavaks kurvattiin Maya Beachille mika on tuttu The Beach-leffasta.
Ao Nang, Krabi
Odotin tosi paljon sita mut olin taas pettyny kun paastiin sinne. Kysyinkin Raffilta kyynisesti miksei niit kaikkii ihmisii nakyny siin esitteessa kun buukattiin retki. Hieno paikkahan se on mutta ois kiva saada hieno kuva rantsusta ilman hirveeta ihmismassaa. Lounas syotiin sit itse Phi Phi-saarella. Se oli jotenkin viehattava omalla tavallaan, pienia kujia putiikkeineen. Mutta kuten kaikkialla muuallakin, paljon turisteja. Ja Raffi harkitsi Sportti Baarin ostoa kun naki sellasen olevan myynnissa siella...etta jossei meita kuulu takas niin tiedatte mista ettia ;D Jatkettiin viela muutamalle lagoonille ja snorklattiin taas. Ja paras saari oli Bamboo Island mihin mentiin viimeseks ottaa vahan aurinkoo. Snorklaus oli siis hienoo mut aikataulu oli koko ajan niin kiireinen ettei yhes paikas ehtiny olla kauan.
Pidettiin meian retkipaivan valissa yks chillaus paiva ja hengailtiin joen rannalla ja todistettiin kova rankkasade, mika oli vaihteeks ihan mukavaa. Ja netissa ollaan viihdytty erittain hyvin pitkan tauon jalkeen.
Tanaan oli taas retken paikka ennen kun siirrytaan Ko Lantalle. Aamubussi tai tuktuk (isompi versio, en muista Thai-nimea..) nappas meiat kyytiin aamulla. Neljan saaren retkeks sanottiin tata ja ekana pysahdyttiin Poda-saarelle. Se oli aika hieno paikka, valkonen hiekka ja turkoosi meri ja ihanat maisemat, jaaa paljon ihmisia. Mutta snorklaus ei ollu niin hyva. Vesi oli vahan sameeta ja ei niin paljon fisuja ja koralleja. Seuraavana oli vuorossa Chicken Island eli Kanasaari nain vapaasti suomennettuna ;) Siella snorklattiin vahan lisaa ja ma nain iiison pallokalan! haha, ne on just hauskoja, eraat mun kamut tietaa mun innostuksen ko.lajiin :D
Lounaalle pysahdyttiin Tub Islandille mika oli ehdottomasti mun lemppari.

Kolme saarta yhdistyy pienilla rantaviivoilla toisiinsa ja sa voit kavella niita pitkin saarelta toiselle. Lisaks vesi oli taas ihanan lamminta ja turkoosia ja hiekka niin valkosta etta silmiin sattu. Tosin tokkasin kynnella silmaani edellisiltana, joten se saatto olla sitakin ;D haha, mammalle tiedoks, ei sattunu pahemmin jos taas sydan heitti volttia ;D Naan viela yhta hyvin kun ennenkin.. Lopuks viela Railay rantsulle ottamaan aurinkoa ja uimaan. Retki oli meian mielesta parempi ku Phi Phille koska joka paikas oli aikaa vahintaan tunti ja oli muutenkin lunkki fiilis. Ja makeemmat rantsut.
Huomenna jatketaan aamusta Ko Lantalle mista meille on varattu bungalowi viideks yoks. Ja sit matka jatkuu uuteen maahan, Malesiaan.

Hi ya! Greetz from lovely Krabi town. Trip here from Ko Phangan was easy and comfy. We took a room in the town coz we first wanted to check out which location suits us the best. But we noticed it's actually pretty convenient to make trips from here on and cheaper to stay here too. We had a look at Ao Nang, which I suppose is the most known location for foreigners in Krabi. It sure was like Hua Hin II to us. Very crowded and lot of Finns,beach was full too and water a bit murky. So we don't go there anymore since we backpackers are looking for the perfect beach for us. ;)
We booked a daytrip for the following day. Phi Phi Islands was it called. Early wake up at eight. Finns were well represented as there were 5(+Raffi) of us from 20 persons.

yei! We did some snorkelling at oopen waters first. And me sure did it, snorkelled without that bloody life vest! I had to raise my mental state first and when I saw two older Finnish ladies going for it without fear I couldnt be any less. Well it took some hyperventilation after dipping my head under the surface the first times but after calming my breath I realised Im not gonna drown after all. And boy, weren't I a real sealion afterwards. ;D We took it from there to Monkey Beach which wasnt much of special anything. Crowded and no monkies. The next stop, Maya Beach, was somehting I was looking for. But got disappointed.. I asked cynically why didnt I see all these people in the brochure then...
It is lovely bay though, no doubt about that!
Lunch we had at the famous Phi Phi. It is, I think, charming village with small alleys dotted with boutiques. And like everywhere elso too, crowded. I suppose you cannot avoid that unless you go to very remote place in Thailand. Oh yeah, and Raffi saw this Sports bar on sale so if you dont find us in Finland in June, you know where to look for ;)
We did see some more lagoons and snorkelled again and last went to Bamboo Island to sunbathe. It was in my opinion the best beach on the whole trip. And as a conclusion, the trip wasn't that bad, snorkelling was wonderful, loads of fish and corals and clear water but the timetable was not relaxed at all.
The very next day we took a day off so to say and just hung around the town. We sat next to the river and experienced a heavy rain. Slept well. And we've sure take back the time in the internet.
Today was another daytrip in our agenda called Four Islands. The morning bus or tuktuk (dont recall what the locals call it but its bigger than tuk tuk..) took us to longtailboat. And the first stop from there was at Poda Island. That was nice place, white sand and turqoise water, lovely scenery around it. And lets not forget lot of people. But snorkelling wasnt too good, the water was murky and not many fish there. The next was Chicken Island, just around the corner. Some more snorkelling and I spotted my long time fave fish, Puffer fish and it was huge!! Well it's a long sotry why I like it, or even know such a fish so lets keep it that way.
The lunchtime took place in Tub Island which so far is my absolute favorite. Three islands connected to each other by thin stripes of sand on which you can walk to each island. The water was nice and warm, colors amazing, sand was so white you got blinded. (or its from the fact that I accidentally scratched my eye with nail yesterday eve..)
The last stop was Railay beach where we sunbathed and swam. The trip was definatelt better than the previous, more time to spend on each location, and nicer places altogether.
Tomorrow morning we'll take a boat to Ko Lanta where we remain 5last nights. Then Malaysia is in our itinerary. Here's the last updates so far.
