Hiiohoi taas,
No niin, matka jatkuu, Hua Hinista aamubussi Ko Taolle. ;)
No kuitenkin, pari tuntia bussissa ja pari tuntia katamaraanillaja saavuttiin Ko Tao:lle.
Nolojen tunnustusten jalkeen kerron et luin yhen parhaimmista kirjoista pitkaan aikaan!
Noh, ehka viela..
Jeps, kolme yota hiljasuudessa ja kaivattiin takas sivistyksen pariin, Ko Phanganille, tayden kuun bilesaarelle.
Sielta kuuluu seuraavaks..

Hiio-hoi again,
So on the road again, just paid a visit in a travel agency in Hua Hin and we got ourselves an organised trip to Ko Tao. And you pay only little extra if you're lucky. The early wake ups arent still my thing, feels like you're working here too ! ;D
First morning bus to south, 2hrs, after which we hop on board of catamaran, 2hrs too.
I never get sea sick but this time it was bad, nearly buked. I don't get it, it was quite huge boat and really modern but it kept doing this up-down movement and my stomach and mind didnt seem to like it. But I survived to the island.
We tried to book one room in an isolated resort on the southern tip of the island but did it too late, the previous night. Then I got a sms that the booking would be fine and there's free room for 400bahts available. But we were on shore already. Then luckily the same lady who owns the place was trying to get customers to the resort at the pier and approached us with presentation of her resort.
The resort was just what we needed, about 20customers, lil bar at the beach, bungalows all over, little nice white sandy beach and clear water. And silent it sure was. In the evenins they always had a fire show at nine, and music was played at the bar with the nice staff playing gmaes with customers. And the owner, what a drunk.. she had her glass full all the time, and she was wondering how can I have two sober weeks. (that's the New Year's resolution, two weeks after New Year me stay sober, and when I have my b-day I celebrate again). She added to that: I love alcohol! She should go to the Museum in BKK and see what alco does to your liver :D
In the noons you could snorkel, swim, sunbathe there, pretty perfect, ha? Well, I must tell you, I know how to swim but snorkelling's still not in control. Just right after I put the mask on and dip my head beneath the surface I panic... I did snorkelling once before in Costa Rica with life jacket on and it was great! So I guess I have to keep practising, to get rid of my fear, it's just so cool but my mind's not up to it yet. (at least not without life jacket..)
Well now that I've confessed my embarrassing secret I tell you about a book I read here. Okay, I've read many books during the trip already but this particular one I wanna share with you. Small Island written by Andrea Levy. It's such a great book. It tells about Jamaicans who immigrate to UK after war and how they get a negative approach from Brits even though some of the guys fought for UK in the war. It's written really well, funny but still sad and true. Go for it!
And boy, did I miss the Ladyboy show in Bangkok. I didnt even reckon one exists until my sis asked me had I visited one. And in Hua Hin few ladyboys gave us brochures then to join the show, for free for me they even said (do they say it to all, I dont know..?) But Raffi wasnt too much into it even though I tried blackmailing.. and even though they flirted to us (hahahah..) and I didnt wanna go alone.
But it aint over yet...
Yup, three nights in silence and we had it. Next to Ko Phangan, theeeee famous full moon party island!
You hear from there next,
norppa (that's one animal in Finnish too (baby seal), not as big as elephant though, I have many nicknames you see...) hahaha...arent I loved??? ;D

Catamaran to Ko Tao
Rafa on our balcony,Liam Thian resort, Ko Tao
And we got there after all. We rode there in an open stage truck again, very bumpy road with lots of steep hills. And funny thing was that there was this other couple with us that were from Finland. (Kuopio to be exact) It was nice to talk and share views with them since they have similar travel agenda as we, they only started in Indonesia and are moving upwards as we do it the other way around. The resort was just what we needed, about 20customers, lil bar at the beach, bungalows all over, little nice white sandy beach and clear water. And silent it sure was.
