Parin tunnin bussimatkan jalkeen oltiin Tagaytayssa. Matkan tarkotus oli naha Taal-tulivuori jarven keskella. Tagaytaysta me mentiin tricycle:lla Picnic Grove-nimisen paikan lahelle missa oli vahan halvempia hotelleja kun ihan kaupungissa. Tricycle kuski suositteli meille sita majapaikkaa ja hurjia hintoja siellakin pyydettiin. Saatiin tingittya huone 1300pesoon lopulta, vaikkakin huomattiin myohemmin et suihku ei toiminu ollenkaan.
Samana iltana mentiin Picnic Groveen mika on alue jossa on mahdollisuus ratsastaa, kavella tai pitaa piknikkeja niinkuin nimi ehdottaa. Sielta oli hienot nakymat Taal -tulivuorelle. Tagaytay on kaldeeran reunalla ja se jarvi on kai syntyny joskus purkauksen jalkeen ja siella saaren keskella on siis pari kraateria. Jos oikeen muistan niin Taal on purkautunu viimeks 1976. Kaytiin viela illalla kaupungissa mika on sellanen pikkunen paikka. Ostettiin kuuluisia buko-piirakoita. Makeita kookos-piirakoita siis ja ne olikin tosi hyvia!
Me oltiin sovittu seuraavalle aamulle retki sinne tulivuorelle ennen kun jatkettas matkaa. Herattiin seiskalta ja meian tricycle kuski oli vastassa. Ensin ajettiin siella alas jarven rannalle mika olikin hauska ajomatka. Sen jalkeen otettiin vene sinne saarelle ja siella kaveltiin ylos sinne kraaterille. Maisemat oli tosi upeita ja se kraateri oli pieni jarvi mika oli tosi siistin nakonen kanssa. Meita lahestyttiin monesti hevoskyyti-tarjouksilla ylos kraaterille mut ei oo oikeen meian juttu, ei olla hevos-ihmisia. :)
Takas piti kuitenkin lahtee niin etta ehittiin tsekata ulos meian majapaikasta kahteentoista mennessa ja jatkaa matkaa.

Keskustassa odotettiin oikeeta bussia Batangasiin ja paikalliset neuvo meiat kuitenkin bussiin joka meni eri kaupunkiin, joten meil oli selvittamista lipunmyyjan kanssa miten paastaan Batangasiin.. Parin bussinvaihdon jalkeen oltiin kuitenkin kolmen pintaan Batangasissa ja saatiin viela lautta/vene Mindoro-saarelle. Paivitys jatkuu siis Puerto Galeralta, Mindorolta.

Mabuhay again!
After two hour busride we were in Tagaytay. Meaning was to see Taal-volcano in the middle of a lake nearby.
From the twon we took tricycle to Picnic Grove where they have more budget options around. However, we ended up paying 1300ps even after bargaining. The room was simple with telly but the shower had finished working.
In the same eve we went to Picnic Grove which is a park where you can walk, ride horses or like the name suggests, have a picnic. The view from up there was amazing, you could see the whole lake and the island. Tagaytay is located on the edge of the caldera and the lake I suppose was created after an eruption long time ago. In the island there are two craters, and the volcano last erupted in 1976 (as I recall it right).
Afterwards we still went to town and bought some local buko-pies, coconut pies that is. Delicious!
For the next morning we agreed on going to a trip to the volcano. We woke up at seven and our tricycle driver tooks us down to the lake shore where we had boat ride to the isle. The tricycle ride is fun! At the island we hiked up to the crater and the views there were breathtaking too! Inside the crater there is a lake too.
We had to hit the road again and check out before twelve. In the centre we waited to get a right bus to Batangas and locals helped us to get one but in the end the bus was going into another town after all. Nobody just didnt inform us even after asking and we found out it in the bus. Well we changed bus once more and got ourselves to the pier in Batangas where we still managed to get a ferry to Puerto Galera, Mindoro.
