Grenada is a fairly quiet city, not a lot to it, but for some reason it was one of my favourite cities on the trip. I think it was the scenery: Beautiful and serene. It is a great place to centralize yourself when visiting numerous parts of Nicaragua. The city itself is worth a few days stay if you want to chill or party it up. The church right next to central park is hard to look away from. The church down the street allows you to go up to the bell tower for an outstanding view of the town (check out the 360!). All in that area around Central Park was very laid back with a very low stress-level. Other parts of town are not that relaxing, but we didn't need to go there as everything was conveniently located close to us there. Loved Grenada, a real gem in Nicaragua!!!
