So, yesterday after taking hours to update all the pictures on my blog, I had lunch at the hostel: crackers and pesto mmmmm :) and a banana.

I decided to take the tram to go to Glenelg to go to the beach and relax. Little did I know it was really windy there and the sand was blowing in your face, not pleasant to say the least. So I walked around and it seemed there was a lot happening on the beach as they were some kind of kids competetion with different games: surfing, running, etc. I decided to walk on the path and lie on a bench and catch up on my tan that has been non-existent. Then I walked downtown Glenelg (you can read this word both ways and its the same) and saw some shops and went to see where the Best Western was. Its really smack in the centre and 1mn walk to the beach. Hope you dont get a room on the road side though. It looks nice and I will try and get something close to there on the 4th so that I dont have to walk too far to meet you guys (parents).

Came back and had dinner. I was going to go out but I chickened out. I checked if Eva had arrived but no records. So I read for most of the evening, almost finished my book. My roomates were really young and disrespectful as they left their stuff everywhere, reminded me of Byron Bay experience.

Today, had breakfast with Kyle, he is from the States and doing an exchange here for one year. Came into PeterPans and booked ......TASMANIA! It was either Tassy or go back to the Red Centre and since I already want to come back to the red centre (Alice Springs), I decided I would do Tasmania. I will be going with "Adventure Tours" and doing the west coast. I had to choose between the 2 coast which was difficult because one coast is more hiking and the other more beaches, both my worlds. I decided to hike. Its a little crazy though because I have a few days after Kangoroo Island in Adelaide but once I fly to Melbourne I am pretty busy. Here is my new and improved itinarary:

Fly to Melbourne: Jan 25, get there at 5:05pm

Fly to Hobart in the morning on Jan 26, spend the day there

Jan 27: day tour to Port Arthur

Jan 28, 29, 30, 31 : adventure tours of the west coast of Tassy

Feb 1: Fly back to Melbourne from Lanceston

Feb 2, 3, 4: Great Ocean Road to Adelaide to meet the parents

So its pretty back to back Tassy and Great Ocean Road, all good though just being active and around people all the time! So that means I might not be in touch for a bit once I get in Melbourne as it is back to back.

Today, well it was raining so either Ill go around the city or back to Glenelg, not sure yet.

Leaving tomorrow at 6am for Kangaroo Island with Groovy Grapes.
