Not much going on this day. A whole lot of laying out from about 10am until 3pm! Sweet as! Took a nap later and then met the Aussie girls downstairs for the poolside BBQ! It was their last night in Bali so is was going to be a fun night! The BBQ was fantastic and although I didn't purchase any drinks I was sneaky and had a water bottle of rice wine "grape juice" which I managed to make my way through the entire bottle! There was dinner entertainment, a couple of guys singing some classic favorites, and then a Barong dance. Not nearly as goo d as the one I had seen during my tour but this was more catered for a group of half-drunk party goers. At the end they asked volunteers to come up and try the style of dancing w/ the dancers of which I did. A guy then came out and did some bartender juggling which produced a mixed drink which was up for grabs to anyone who could get up there first... Having the initial shyness of being on stage gone, I needless to say, won the cocktail. Then, they had a set of "games" competing for a free bungee jump as the main prize 01-Me w/ Balinese Dancers

. So again I volunteered. Lets just say the games were sexually suggestive. There were 6 pairs of guys and girls. My pair was an Aussie guy who had been sitting w/ his girlfriend, I told him that I hope his girl had a good sense of humor:-) Anywho, the first was a race to see who could finish a greenish alcoholic concoction first by the girls kneeling in front of the guys while the guys held the drink between their legs... We all know what that was supposed to look like. An there were more silly tasks. Anywho, there were probably 3 games, all of which were for the audiences entertainment (and ours as well, I found it hilariously fun:-) as only the last game counted towards the winning of the prize. Needless to say my partner and I didn't win but we gave it a fair go, the downfall of our not winning lying in a faulty balloon which we couldn't pop... We then had a bit of a swim and then the Aussie girls and me, 7 total and this guy that one of the girls had met and his friend and a Balinese guy who works at the tour desk in the hotel all went to Paddy's nightclub. This is the club that had been bombed back in 2001 but had been rebuilt. I had one drink called jungle juice there, of course disproportionaly tall but man did it do the trick on top of all the other concoctions I consumed.... The jungle juice however had a liquor called Arak in it which is the Balinese liquor and is VERY strong! I think it had some sort of energy in it or maybe it was the nap b/c I was out of my mind dancing like a maniac and have a great time! In general the atmospere was unlike anything I had ever experienced as we it was mainly of vacation goers who were just having a great time. The crowd was mixed of 20 - 40 year olds and from all over the world including about 1/3 being Balinese. It was just a blast however I was a sweaty mess by the end of the night. We got home about 3am and jumped straight into the pool, clothing and all. WHAT a NIGHT!
