Sourdough Campground has a small cafe where we all had breakfast of pancakes, reindeer sausage, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, and fruit.
After breakfast, Art and I inquired about the local clinic and the office lady gave them a call to find out their hours. They are closed on Saturday, so Art will have to wait until we get to Fairbanks to see a doctor.
We went for a ride around some of the back roads near camp and went to some gift shops. The clerk at one of them directed us to look around the side of the shop where three Husky puppies were for sale. They were darling! Sorry, no pictures of the pooches
After our journey through the looney bin capital of Alaska, we only had about 45 minutes at camp before we headed off to dinner at a local restaurant named "Fast Eddy's" where we ate a very large, delicious meal.
We got as far as loading the PT on the car hauler, but won't strap it down until morning because the mosquitoes are swarming voraciously.
