Wow! Two point eight million people certainly creates lots of noise, pollution and crowds! We have spent 5 days tromping all over checking out fantastic fountains, amazing ruins and historic sites, and quiet parks. It is quite incredible to read and experience so much fascinating history in one spot. We often feel overwhelmed with the amount of information one must absorb to put time and events into sequence. It allowed us to barely scratch the surface of the museums, churches, ruins, etc., so you would have to spend much more time to do it all. Of course, that means coming back, we suppose.
