I wake up earlier than usual, although not early enough still, and do not feel like there is roadwork going on in my skull. This is a massive win.

I manage my hot lemon water, fresh carrot juice but fail on brekkie.  Woody is fed, watered, dressed and full of the joys of spring.

We head down to Woody's number’s class and it is very lucky it is downhill as we have next to no fuel in the car.  I am worried about breaking down and apparently so is Woody as he claps and cheers when we arrive, and then says, 'do you think we will ever make it home again?’

I drop him at his class and he has his usual spring in his step.   I head out to get fuel.  I have a long chat with the friendly bloke at the petrol station about his recent bout of flu.  I would have chatted all day as I was just delighted to make it there!

I head back to where Woody’s class is and pop next door for a detox friendly drink.  I collect a happy boy, and we head to his Read and Grow class.  We are on time, for the second time today and Woody is delighted to see his friends.  It’s a lovely book, Pear in the Pear Tree, and Woody enjoys the book.   It’s then time for the craft activity and Woody enjoys it so much he does it twice!  He makes a paper cow where you can put paper pears in its mouth.  He is very impressed with it.

We head home and some of Woody’s come back to ours for lunch.  The 3 boys dress as pirates and run havoc in the back garden whilst I rustle up some lunch.  Mid way through the sandwich production line I learn that the Mum is pretty much on the same detox as me.   She is 2 weeks ahead of me and feeling fabulous so there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

We have a fab lunch, we chat for ages and the children play all sorts of things.

After a couple of hours we say our goodbyes and we let a very tired Woody flake briefly in front of the TV.  I tidy up.  Noah takes Woody out to the library and Woody is super excited to be heading out with Noah.  Noah is looking for some Route 66 books and Woody is looking for things Lion or Bear based.

I pop on some dinner, and the fellas arrive home super happy.

We are all a bit worn out, so we slop on the sofa and watch some of the movie Woody got from the library whilst we eat our dinner.  It’s what we all needed.  All 3 of us struggle to stay awake.

Woody has a bath and goes to bed after I read him a stack of library books.  Noah works and I am sure I did something constructive before I went to bed, but I have no recollection of what it was......

Sleep tight everyone. x
