I wake and lie very still in bed waiting to see how much I hurt from yesterday's exercise overdose. Yep, I still hurt.  Admittedly less than last night, but I will be mostly keeping my arms still today.

I get up and Mum is making pikelets with a very happy and chatty Woody.  I lurk around the fry pan and eat the pikelets  the moment they are cooked.  Yummo.

I then and try and do some of the things I meant to do last night (before my arms and legs seized up).  So I wrap presents, write cards, and get bits ready for a trip to the post office.  This seems to take ages, but this may have something to do with the amount of pikelets I am eating.

So I run around like a crazy and still maniac and I still manage to leave the house late,  and arrive at our first activity even later.  Oh, well....   And I forget my phone.   So far, not slick at all.

Elwood enjoys 'sing and groove’ and joins in from the second we arrive.  He really enjoys it and happily shares his pikelets in the break and shows everyone his pirate map  and talks enthusiastically about such pirate matters as treasure and ‘x marks the spot’.

We then play dinosaurs and barbeques in the playroom (Please note:  these are 2 separate games).  It is pretty quiet and Elwood plays wonderfully and is relaxed and happy and such a delight.

We then stay on for the book reading and activity session.  It’s about animals, so it is a hit with Woody.  It also provides lots of opportunities for the kids to snort like pigs – and this proves to be very popular.  There are lots of animal themes activities at the end, but Woody just wants to play rescues with the animal figures.

We head home for a quick bite to eat and a quick recharge of our batteries.  We have some lunch and Woody and Noah play Lego and the little fella and I are out the door again to a little reading thing down the road.  But we get there and it is closed. I phone them, no luck.  Woody is disappointed and I am annoyed.  So, we head back home.  Woody gets on with Lego and I get the blog up to date.

And before long we are out the door again.  We have a quick pit stop at the library to get an Anzac Day book, and then we are off to the cinemas with the Mothership to watch the Lorax.  When we buy tickets  Elwood is given some Lego figures – he is super pleased.  We all love the film – it is just brilliant.  Woody laughs his head off and just looks so, so pleased.  He tells us that he ‘accidentally’ ate all the popcorn but we are so charmed by his happiness we do not mind.  My fave quote from the movie:  "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."

After the film we gets some bits from the shops, I have my monobrow tamed, and we go to the post office.  That is a lot of things off the to do list in one day!

I have a photo I need to sort out for my magazine article so I razz out and do that and then email it off.  Excellent.

And then it is time for the next instalment of our 30 day shred.  It is pretty tough, but we all limp through it.

It is then a giant stir fry, and way too much time dedicated to looking for potential hairstyles on the internet.

And that’s it.  Noah is working,  I blog and snack, and the mothership is soundo.  Noah also stumbles across a few old London photos of Woody - so we have popped them in the blog for old time sake.  Happy times then and Happy Days now too.  Lucky

Good night xxxxx
