Woody wakes and insists Noah gets up with me and leaves me in bed. I swear I have not coached him to do this but it is hilarious.

We razz around getting ready and make lunch and then we are on our way.  It is chucking it down so it looks like another indoors day at preschool.  Woody seeing Yoshi and is super happy.  And then he sees they are going to be read a book on knights and he is stoked.

Noah and I head back home, eat brekkie, Noah makes some cards, we write some letters and we are speedily out the door again as we have another school to view.

We head to the school and we are immediately smitten with it.  It is in a lovely spot and it is leafy and gorgeous looking.  We were initially seeing this school just so we could compare to the other two, but it is suddenly a contender.  The deputy principal is clearly passionate about the school and the prep rooms are just inspiring.  It would be amazing to know that Woody would be in that environment every day.  The prep teacher showed us through work, and spoke us through average day.  We see lots of reading and writing, we see how children of all skill levels are nurtured, and we see they work on values as well as academic skills.  The teacher's passion for teaching prep was infectious and I really see this school would be the most magnificent start to another 12 years of education and would inspire a love of learning.  Noah and I are just over the moon.

We have a tour of the remainder of the school and it gets better and better.  The classrooms are all well equipped and there is such energy about the place.  All the children participate in dancing and we watch some of the class and it is amazing.  We see also see a PE class and wander through the library.  We look in lots of classes and see lots of interaction with students and this school shines everywhere we look.

We have decided we are going to see another 2 schools now for a couple of reasons:  we want more to compare, we are getting good at asking questions, and this is the closest thing we have to a social life.  Ha!

Back at home, Noah cracks on with work and I make dinner for later.  I also have a quick look at our incoming money and our bills and we have some lunch.  Over the last hour or so I have gone from feeling slightly under the weather to grim.  I go to bed for a power nap, and hope to wake up feeling better.  But I just ache.  I have swimming this arvo so I am hoping a good stretch in the pool will sort me out.  So we collect Woody from preschool and we head over to swimming.  The fella’s bike ride and go to the park and I swim and swim.  The first half goes great and some of my aching disappears and the second half I just lose all energy but I keep at it but I am not feeling special.

By the time I meet up with the fellas Woody has a temperature and I have the chills.  The two of us are a bit of a state.  Woody and I both shower, Woody tries to eat and then we go to bed and try and rest but we are both hot and restless.  Noah is trying to work and keep an eye on us both.  It does not look like much fun being the last man standing.

Woody continues his restless sleep and I get up and eat and blog and whinge and sweat.  Noah works and provides drinks.

So that is it.  We are hoping wellness wings it way over our house tonight.  Noah’s has work to do, and interview tomorrow, and I have my interview tomorrow too.  We need to feel good.

Good night folks.  x
