We are here for 4 days to catch our breath and soak up some sun after the weeks of rain in Germany and Switzerland. Igea Marina is about 10km from Rimini. The whole area is not very 'nice' and is almost deserted. Very few people here have English skills and those that have are generally very limited.
The place does have a beach and it is sand, though it is mixed in with some mud making it less that fantastic. The water temperatue was good though, but watch for crabs attaking your feet.
There won't be too much in the way of photos as there is little to tempt me to take a photo.
Apparently the whole area is where Italians come for summer holidays and at the end of summer, most places shut down and put the shutters up until next year. So off season is extrememly quiet. Judging by the number of apartment building and hotels that are sitting empty, the place must be extremely busy during summer!! I think we were better off being here in the off season.
