Switzerland is less than impressive so far.  Maybe its the driving rain and a head cold that is putting me off.  Certainly the little towns that we drove through in the north west were unattractive.

We had a break in the weather on our last day.  It was only mildly cold and the rain stayed away.  It makes such a difference to your outlook.  We had a chance to look at the old city walls, the wounded lion and other city stuctures and this was good.  I must say that viewing the wounded lion was quite a moving experience and worth the visit to Luzern.
