We have found our way to Munich - 5 hours train travel from Dresden with 1 change in Nurnburg from an IRE (slow) to an ICE (fast).  Noticed the speed being displayed on the ICE cabin display - the fastest I saw was 297 km/hr, though much was traveled at 150km/hr.

As it is late, we had a quick walk-around before grabbing a pizza and will head out exploring tomorrow.

As unbelievable as it sounds, it didn't rain today, though it was still really overcast.  We wandered aimlessly around Munich as discovered that it really is a beautiful city.  The only bad bits seem to surround our hotel like a moat.  I have uploaded the photos today.

We went to  the Deutche technology museum on Museum Island today. In a blink of an eye we had spent 5 over hours there.

Tomorrow we pick up the hire car and get lost in the wilderness.
