Well, it was a blood moon yesterday so it had to be an omen.  We got to Sydney AP via Murrays coaches (not a bad way to go) and went through all of the security to find our plane with the bonnet up -- that wasn't a good sign.  Eventually we were told that it had problems and that our flight would be delayed.  At least they kept us informed and even gave us meal vouchers.

Eventually, a few hours later we were off.  Lukily they held back the connecting flight in Singapore and we made it without further incident to Frankfurt.
