Our Nation's Cap.

Last couple of days have been hot and busy. I dragged kara around to see all the monuments in about 1000 degree humidity. the new world war II monument is impressive. the FDR one is still the best. Also saw the cap., supreme court, jefferson, washington, and lincoln memorial, and the white house. After that we crashed and watched, what else but VH1's "I love the 90's" and "Best Week Ever". Spent the night at a house party up on the hill.
Sunday we went to the Holocaust Memorial Museum. It was Rob and Kara's first time there. It's not the most uplifting way to spend a summer sunday afternoon, pretty intense, but it is something everyone should go to once. Walking through a room four floors high, covered w/ family pictures of people who did not survive puts a real human face on this period of our history.
Spent the rest of the night watching movies and eating ice cream. Off to Phili in the morning. The highlight had to be an unexpected phone call from Mr. Chris Ward, all the way from Spain. Learn How to Become a Travel Writer at Klenske, Ink. More thumbnails ...
