Got into Cleveland Wed. night and headed downtown for a ballgame at Jacobs Field. We went with the $5 tickets and got a $5 view. The stadium was great, the beer was big, and the hotdog was, well, a hotdog. We can check that stadium off the list of major league stadiums which we must get to yet. Thursday morning we got up and went to the national park. We took a train ride through the park, which sounded cool on the website. The website, however, left out the part about the train being full of dirty, screaming fat little kids and their equally as dirty and teeth missing parents. Oh well, the experience served as a cheap form of birthcontrol and reinforced my strong belief that people should have to pass some sort of quality standard before they are allowed to reproduce, for the sake of Nick's train ride if nothing else. Other than the train ride, the park was suprisingly nice considering it was less than five miles south of the city. We saw some deer, and a blue heron (Scott: aka, a 'monkey catcher').
Made it into D.C. around 9, checked in to Hotel Rob, and had some beers.
