Despite going to bed at 12:30, I awoke at 6:20. Usually, there is no line for the showers on Thursday, as everyone is going home. I decided to chance it and there were 4 open showers. When I got out, there was a line.

I can't recall a time when it rained when we were packing up. I think we set a record for breaking down camp. We managed to take our group picture under one of the carport shelters before taking it down.

Before everyone took off, there were hugs all around, We acted like we would never see each other again. There is something about camping with someone that brings you closer together. Maybe it is seeing someone as they are first thing in the morning. Maybe it is sharing a silly joke together or experience that does it. Whatever the reason, those of us who went shared something special and the memories will live on forever. The skunk will be part of Kingdom Bound lore, the broken guitar string from a few years ago, my yelling "Slow Down!!" 2 years ago, will go with us each and every time. Food, friends, fellowship and fun...Kingdom Bound 2008.

Thanks for the wonderful camping trip! Sorry it was a bit on the soggy side for you but, looks like you all had a blast!
