For the cheapest food in Japan, go to, no, I'm not kidding, Disneyland.
Ash, John and I went to Disneyland to hang out with the big mouse and such. Now I know most of you are saying "But you hate Disney... with a passion!" Ashleigh loves Disneyland, I haven't been to any DL in 15 years (at least) and John hadn't been in almost as long. So we decided to go to Disneyland.
I was surprised.
The cost of admission was around 50 bucks, but once we got inside, we were blown away that a hamburger was around 3 dollars, fries and such were near 2 bucks, and a meal at one of their restaurants (really quite nice) was around 10 bucks
Un-stinkin'-believable.
Back home, that crap'll cost you an arm and a leg, and a few fingers off your remaining hand.
I'm kinda surprised that that's why Tokyo Disneyland has had low profits.. they're too nice with their prices!! Three key points of amusement park economics: 1) Gouge 2) Gouge 3) be nice, no wait, GOUGE! kidding, the real economics probably have to do something with 1) they WANT to come, jack up the price 2) They're CAPTIVE once they're there, jack up the price some more. 3) They need to EAT, jack up the price..
or maybe it was euro disney that's losing money...
Anyways, their was very few ppl there cuz it was so cold. The temperature wasn't too bad, perhaps 8 deg C, but the windchill factor made it really cold. They daytime temperature was a nice high 60's or so in the sun. It made for a pleasant day, so all the families were all out and running around with their children
The parents must've been like: You'll enjoy what I paid for, and like it!!
Luckily the price of the disney wares were rather reasonable, (10 bucks for hat). so ash was able to buy a knit cap. Me, I was smart and packed cold weather gear, knowing full well that it was going to be FREEZING. Poor Johnny had to borrow my hat and scarf or else he would have rather died.
Despite being smaller and cheaper, I had an awesome a lot of fun and valued the time that I spent there. I think we all agreed, it was a lot of fun. I dont' think I would have enjoyed it had it been the summer time - I keep hearing that the lines are horrendous and that it's super crowded most of the time. Hoorah for us.
A pirate's life for me.

02 Their Main Street JAPAN (aka, World Bazaar)
. When it got dark, I was surprised how many families stayed, despite the freezing cold wind. The parents must've been like: You'll enjoy what I paid for, and like it!!

So what rides did they have?
I assume Pirates of the Caribbean. Was it exactly the same ride as in Anaheim? What about roller coasters?
Pirates... yaar!
yup, they had pirates, but it was shorter, and there were parts that were in english..
Still had 'Dead men tell no tales', but there was only one really minor drop - I seem to remember there being more drops...
