Ibiza in the middle of nowhere !!! Wow. We decided to stopover at Vian Vieng on the way between Vientiene and Luang Probang, the 2 main cities in Loas. We expected this place to be really quiet, but it turned out to be Ibiza in the middle of nowhere. The scenery was stunning and it was fairly quiet through the day. Everyone goes tubing down the river. Your given an old tyre and sent down the river stopping off at several bars along the way playing loud music. By the time you get to the end your drunk out of your skull, and floating through rapids. We had to rescue one girl that had lost her tyre and was hanging on to some bits of wood ! At nighttime its like Ibiza in the town, and the bars sell 'happy shakes and happy pizza's'.
Every bar shows episodes of friends back to back and have benches with cushions on so you can lie down and watch tv with your happy shake !!
