We got our dexycycline (antimalarials)  last night.  12 pounds for both of us.  There a boots the chemist everywhere here.  We bought their own brand (should be ok).  Our last day in Bangkok tommorow.  We saw the Grand palace today.  It was good, but its really tiring with the heat, so we're taking the rest of the day off (its 3.21pm).  We've checked into a different hotel.  This ones only 8 pounds for a double room.  I didnt think I'd need to use my sleeping bag liner or special towel until now !!!!  There was dirty towels on the floor ! and I imagine probably bedbugs !! The hotel in is the touristy area. Theres lots more bars here and we're near all the sightseeing things.  We missed the floating market today, so we'll try that tommorow.

If your coming back to Khao San Road go to newsiam.net go to number 2 it is a little away from the khao san Road nightlife. Trains are good mode of transport but so also is the buses. Dependant on your budget. Flights you have low costs carriers www.airasia.com www.tigerairways.com don't use Nok Air bad experience with them.
You have to sample Nana Plaza for a girlie show go into www.Angelwitch.com first floor on your right show starts at 10pm also outside on the main road go to a bar called midnight noon bar an outside bar where you can watch the world go bar watch the ladyboys work their stuff and generally people watch.
You get busses from Moi Chit take either the underground or skytrain to there. Chinatown is on the underground also.
