We touched down in India at 9am today and then drove 3 hrs on the roads to our holiday home in Malupota.  It was built a few years ago and what's great is that alot of my family who I rarely see will be living there, namely my cousins Suv (Leicester, England) and Shira (Ontario, Canada).  I've never been to India but loved the look of both the country and my holiday home when I got there.  We have palm trees, a pool table and a huge roof top balcony where you can just chill for hours.  The best thing is that we built it for less than £30k!

I have to give a quick mention to the drivers that are on the roads out here... they are all mental.  I've said it before and i'll say it again... mental!!  Nobody drives using the lanes here but simply where the roads are not cracked.  When we hired a driver to take us from the airport to the house we had to pull over half way because four cars coming towards us were over taking each other at the same time?! I was scared to say the least.  Thankfully we bought an awesome 4x4 (aka 'the beast') to go with the house so will use it as a safe option when on longer journeys in the next month;)

Over the next few days we want to make a final addition to the house and that's a new puppy to play with the one next door to us.  They have a female german shepard (Dena) that's two months old so we want to get a simlar one so they can thrive together.  Fingers crossed...
