Coming to the end of the first part of our visit to Thailand...... The Loonpots are Getting browner!!

From Bangkok, we caught the bus down to Ban Phe, the port for Ko Samet and then got a local boat to the island.....

Chilling at sunset on the island with a beer.

We are now on Ko Samet which is beautiful! It does have a few tourists but because it is a national park, they are only allowed to build bungalows only so it is really laid back and feels like Thailand not Ibiza! Not a bad spot eh!

The beaches are beautiful, white sand and the sea is turquoise, it really is idyllic with beautiful sunsets! Sunsetting...

All we have done is lay on the beach in the sun, dip in the warm ocean, read books, drink beer, and chill, lay in the sun, dip in the ocean.....etc... Can we stay in this life forever mum?!! Beer and lots of it!
Beer and lots of it!

Accomodation was abit grim when we arrived as we were hoping for the typical bungalow beach hut but arriving on a weekend meant it was totally full with Thais/tourists. This travelling lark aint alf bad you know..

Luckily we managed to team up with some Americans and find a room.... really grim though but the beach and beer made up for it! White sand, turquoise sea...heaven

To treat ourselves on our last night we moved upper class (by eight pounds!!) to a really nice bungalow that is clean thank god for our last night! We have just chilled swimming and sun bathing so looking quite brown now to say the least! Phew a treat on our last night!

Our usual dinner on the beach!

The restaurants here are all on the beach which is great as you sit like the Thais do to at small tables, cross legged, so it really has been chilled and beautiful. A few too many and abit too much sun!
