OK. OK. I have been here a week now and have started this post twice before. I don't have any good reason not to have done this already. We have been busy and all, but other than having no clue about when, where, and how we proceed next, I should have gotten to this by now.
I arrived on the 16th after another exhausting trip on the bus. I still have not figured out how to be comfortable in one of those seats, or two for that matter. It was easy to get rested up here with all the welcome and love I received. It was a good thing too, as this week has been a whirlwind of car fixin', folks meeting, cow moving and hay making. My sister was even able to come by and visit us here, before heading back to Colorado. It has been so neat to finally get to meet more of Gyvonne's family, and get to spend a little time doing some of the things here that are a part of her world. The experience has provided a deeper respect and love for who she is.
I can now tell you that we will be getting back on the trail soon, so to speak. We will head down to a very special place from my younger days, Cumberland Island, and to me it's like getting back in touch with an old friend I haven't seen in many years. The trip will also bring us to the doors of more friends and families. YEA!
The next entry on OUR travel blog will be from G. Until then Blessings to you.
