Most of us chose to join a trip to Milford Sound today - possibly not the best decision considering the night before. Still we there ready to go at 6.45am. The bus you go on is quite unique - the windows continue over the roof so you can look up and see the mountains. It's also staggered like an auditorium as it goes back so everyone can see forwards and the seats are slightly tilted to the windows.

Didn't realise it was a good 5-6 hours of driving away! Stopped along the way and had the opportunity to take photos of the mountains and lakes in the national park including the mirror lakes - as they sound, very beautiful.

Arrived into Milford Sound and boarded our boat. Got a little picnic lunch which everyone was ready for! Our sail lasted about 2 hours - I'll try and paint a picture: calm, clear turquoise water surrounded by mountain faces with giant waterfalls trickling down them. Jurassic Park style mountains covered in trees on every side. Seals are sunbathing on the rocks or jumping out of the water. Breathtakingly beautiful. We were also incredibly lucky, for the first time in years there was a whale - a rare Southern Wright Whale. He was only a baby but very cool.

Back to the bus and we all pretty much slept the entire way back. Didn't arrive in Queenstown until 7.45pm. In my head I felt like a quiet one but it was Antonia's last night - I walked back in the hotel and they were getting ready to go out - I knew it wasn't going to be a quiet one! Went for dinner first before heading to Winnie's for some dancing. Went to a place called Globe bar for a while - they serve drinks in teapots. Cool place but I think the average age in there was about 12! So we headed to Buffalo and danced until the small hours..
