The sleeper train was quite an experience - there's 4 people per compartment with 2 bunks either side. You can use the lower bunk to sit on and then for sleep you can pull a curtain around your bed. There was a 'disco party cart' which we couldn't fit into but we spent the night crammed into one compartment playing games - cards (Scum), Chinese Whispers and 21. The numbers became:

1 = '234'
2 = double clap
3 = 4 claps under one leg
4 = slap yourself in the face
5 = 'O my Buddah!'
8 = everyone hit Dan
10 = 'dancing' and dancing action
11 = 'ladyboys'
12 = hands in the middle and 'go team'
13 = make an animal noise
14 = 'Andrew'
17 = 'Reganschiem' (German for umbrella)
19 = high five someone
20 = pinch someone's nose

Good times. Food was ok - ironically for most of the trip, food has taken ages to arrive - the time we're all crammed with little space and everything arrives at the same time! O and we were also pretty sure our attendants were lady-boys..

Sleep was broken but ok, strange waking up to a train station announcement! Arrived in Bangkok around 7.30 I think, headed over to the hotel and a group of us decided to head for the floating market at Damneon Saduak. Took an hour and a half but well worth it - pretty much as it sounds, the market stalls are on boats and you browse on a boat! Crazily brilliant. Bought a few more bracelets and some mango.

Back to Bangkok and me and Debbie got a Tuk Tuk to see some of the remaining sights - The Grand Palace, Giant Swing & China Town. My final thoughts on the city are - crazy hectic, vibrant, other worldly, sweet/dirty smelling & most of all HUMID!

Shower at the hotel, quick dinner and had to say goodbye to half of the tour group & Kitty. Sad times. The rest of us headed to the Sky Bar at the Lebua for a farewell Hangovertini - nice to start and finish my time in Bangkok there. Sad to leave the guys but had to catch my flight to Koh Samui. Hotel lost my bag briefly and then traffic is bad. Have a horrible feeling I may miss my flight. I'm in the taxi now, fingers are crossed..
