O.MY.GOD - I just did a 40 metre free fall abseil !!

Day didn't start so well, me & my roommate Bibiana slept in because my alarm didn't go off - 11 minutes before we were due to leave the hotel!! Managed to make it down only a couple of minutes late and we set off to a zip wiring place called Eagle Track. Pretty similar to Go Ape back home but in the jungle and with the addition of free fall abseils.. My fear of falling was pushed to the limit - if I'd known about the falling part I may not have joined (the other option was a place called Tiger Kingdom) but so glad I did. They essentially clip your harness from the back, hang you over the edge and then drop you really quickly. Half way round there was one 20 metres high which I felt nervous about. The guy then told me the next was double the height! Feel proud that I did it. Jamie I wore the necklace you bought me the whole way round, I feel it helped! The 3 guys with us kept checking I was ok - they were also really funny 'No crying, only happy screaming' and when one of us said 'O my God' they'd shout 'O my Buddah!' Annoyingly my camera batteries had died & I didn't want to risk taking my phone so no photos. Some of the others' will probably wind up on Facebook.

Heading back to the hotel to get changed and ready to catch the sleeper train back to Bangkok..
