Back down the hill and after quickly checking into the hotel, some of the girls headed to a cooking class. We visited a local market to learn about the ingredients used in Thai cooking. It wasn't as full on as the food market in Chaing Rai but full of vibrant fruits and vegetables and some questionable looking meat.
Back to the class and we had a choice of what to make. I opted for Chicken Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Chicken & Coconut Soup & Pork Panang Curry. I have to say, pretty impressed with my skills, everything tasted so good! Thai dinner party when I get back.
Quick change at the hotel and onto Thai Boxing. Had no idea what to expect.. 7 rounds including children, women & men. My favourite was the 'Special Round' where they blindfolded 5 boxers and left them to fight. It was hilarious, they were falling over, walking into the sides, going for the ref! My favourite was a guy who kept doing a helicopter manoeuvre - spinning around with his arms spread out. Sometimes he'd trip over his own feet! Final round was Thailand vs Australia - everyone really got into it, sadly was a draw in the end.
12pm and we headed to see the Night Bazaar - lots of nice handmade jewellary and crafts as well as fake mulberry bags, north face & tiffany jewellery. Bought a nice traditional bracelet, bartered down in price!
Tuk Tuk back to the hotel & time for sleep, zip wiring tomorrow..
