So off we set, on our way to wave rock, in Albany 409km away from Perth.  Excitement builds! We are off!  We quickly realize how much Margie drinks...shit.
We get a bit lost in Armadale but quickly find out way out (unlike Jundaloop - its the Bermuda triangle of WA!)
We then hit the outback, red dirt all around, old fashioned metal windmill like in the wizard of Oz - Cat decided to have a fascination with them - and proceeded to take photos every time she saw them! - it soon wore thin, when it seemed there was one every 100km or so!  We arrive to Wave rock at about lunch time - it was very hot, and full of flies - the flies got very annoying - they just do not leave you alone!  We take the short walk from the car park to be greeted by this massive wave rock! literally! It was massive at 15m high and 110m wide.  It was pretty spectacular! - the fun then begun with various "surfing the rock" poses - paddling in the surf, falling over in the surf!  We get the required shots and climb the rock (via stairs) and have a look around at the top with views as far as the eye can see or basically nothing, and a few large boulders.
We leave Hyden and Margaret was thirsty - so we arrive at an outback "pay at pump" where the payment takes place about 50m from the pump in some random machine.  We then rest up for free at Jerramungup bus stop! We took some pics of the clear moon we saw out of our window.  Each morning Cat would usually tell me about some random noises she heard or the Axe murderer that was outside the door, and about how she kept trying to cuddle up to me in the night, thinking I was Mike! ha ha bless...
