Merry Christmas to one and all!!
What a Christmas we have had. We have been to Universal Studios since we have arrived which was great, but we topped that on Christmas Day by going to Disneyland!! Pure Magic. We are staying just off the Hollywood Bld, which has turned out to be the biggest dump around! Imagine rows of t-shirt shops, then a tattoo parlour then just repeat that sequence all the way down. Then bang smack in the middle of it are the only things worth seeing... Chinaman theatre, Kodak theatre (home of the oscars) and the Hollywood walk of Fame - which goes on and on forever. We met up with one of my friends from uni, jayne, and went up to the Hollywood sign during one afternoon. We were only about 30 metres under it and it is huge. we had to climb a really steep and long hill to get to it but it was well worth it!
This is the end of the road for our American Journey. It has been great fun and like all great things it must come to an end. Now its off to Fiji to welcome in the New Year. America- you have been great hosts, we have enjoyed almost every minute of it. VIVA Fiji! More thumbnails ...
